A detailed woodburning artwork of a badger, with additional images of mushrooms, a butterfly, and a bird, in progress on a wooden maple surface.

Wood burned Squirrel sitting with morels, hand burned on a wood birch round placed beside real morel mushrooms.

It’s looking a little sparse on this site these days…

I’m busy slacking off for the summer!

Life is short, and winters are long, so I’m busy being out and about, enjoying the hot weather while it’s here, and packing my emergency bags for all these wildfire evacuations happening across the province…

This site is currently in the process of being updated, so if it seems glitchy and unfinished -that’s because it is!

In the meantime:

You can find me at the Nelson Farmers Market on Saturdays and Wednesdays, where I have a special edition collection of ‘Kootenay Conks’ available for sale, as well as my jewellery line and other products that aren’t usually featured here on the site.

You may also catch me throughout the rest of summer up in the ghost town of Sandon BC, where I’ll be plugging into their historic 127 year old Nikola Tesla Hydro Electric Generator to power my machine and create some new pieces.

I am still closed for all commissions-
but stay tuned for fall….there may be pet portraits on the horizon…

As well as a new collection!
A chance to grab one of the original pieces I’ve been hoarding in my studio for over two years now! My entire collection is to be released come fall, along with select fine art prints. Exact Date TBA

Also coming soon:
A Youtube channel! Where you’ll find tutorials and tips and tricks based on my decade of experience with burning wood.

Remaining Markets of note:
Nelson Night market- Baker St, Nelson BC
Hills Garlic festival - New Denver BC,
Kootenay Artisan Fair- Lakeside Park, Nelson BC

See you there!
