'Run, Salmon, Run'

Featuring one of the most famous duo’s here in Canada - The bear and the Salmon, burned on a gorgeous live edge fir burl with a distinct birds eye pattern resembling the slash of water.

This piece pays homage to the wood itself; celebrating the patterns and incorporating it into the piece. The bears are highly detailed with layers of depth created by deep burning and carving, creating realistic looking fur.

The back side of the piece also features an image: a Salmon, placed among more water-like burl patterns.
This is a double sided piece designed to be displayed standing on a level surface, one in which you can view both sides of the piece. Because of this, no hardware has been installed for hanging, instead the piece sits upright on a flat surface like a mantle or ledge.
