One of my most detailed pieces but on a smaller scale than the others.

‘Meadowlurk’ features a bobcat peaking through foliage. The hair details on the Bobcat are complex and intricately crafted; carved into the surface in a way that depicts realistic fur. A subtle contrast sticking out from the surrounding foliage: fireweed, wild roses, blue camas, subalpine daisies and more.

Along the Bobcat and foliage are an assortment of insects: butterflies and grasshoppers, intermingled in the piece for the eyes to discover.

This piece is incredibly complex, with intricate fine details and depth.

Measuring 9” across the bottom, 8.5” across the top, height of 10.5”, and .5” thick.

To leave the fine details intact, and to ensure the possibility of future refurbishments if needed- No finish will be applied to the piece and it will be left ‘Raw’.

Pyrography pieces are subject to possible fading over the years when subjected to UV rays. Do not place pieces in direct sunlight. Deep cutting techniques on the pieces help avoid this issue. Free lifetime refurbishment is available as a guarantee (piece by piece basis)- customer must pay additional shipping costs.
